March 2015 First Friday Recap

Delightful weather, a fab­u­lous charity, fan­tastic cock­tails and deli­cious food! The only thing that made the night even better, were all of the fab­u­lous guests! Our March First Friday was a roaring suc­cess and we can’t thank everyone enough for helping us cel­e­brate another mon­u­mental event. Save the date for an extra spe­cial April First Friday 4/​3/​15 from 6–9.

Kicking off the night was the always enter­taining Nick Peterson man­ning the bar and serving up deli­cious Lean Vodka cock­tails. Newly intro­duced to the Tampa area, Lean Vodka is a low-​​calorie vodka that is infused with gin­seng, .….. . Nick mixed up the Straw­berry Fizz cock­tails fea­turing Leans vanilla infused vodka. This cock­tail was easily a crowd favorite and we are very appre­cia­tive to Lean for pro­viding the drink of the night. We gra­ciously wel­comed back Family Table Catering as they pro­vided scrump­tious and healthy bites for the night. Their chicken wraps with yogurt sauce are simply divine and the spring beet salad was so amaz­ingly fresh and light. So much more than just a tra­di­tional catering com­pany, Family Table also has meal delivery options for sin­gles to large fam­i­lies! Working with local farmers, butchers and bakers, Family Table pro­vides fresh, local com­fort food straight to your table. It’s like having your own per­sonal Nona cooking for you. Check out their menus online and have fresh, deli­cious meals on your table in no time. Rounding out the deli­cious­ness of the night, Dulce DeMesa Cup­cakes! Taylor pro­vided us with some fab­u­lous choco­late cup­cakes that were simply scrump­tious! Finally, a huge thank you to all who brought in and made dona­tions to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay, our spot­light charity for the night. We col­lected not only mon­e­tary dona­tions but also serval bags of food, treats and toys for ani­mals in need. Thank you all for your gen­erosity and thank you to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay for being a part of our First Friday cel­e­bra­tion. When we dropped of the dona­tions, we had the honor of meeting Bart, the Mir­acle Cat! Don’t forget the Bark in the Park is quickly approaching, this is a family (both two and four legged) friendly fundraiser for the Humane Society of Tampa Bay filled with music, food trucks and even beer!
