L’Wren Scott | Style Icon

L’Wren Scott was an inspi­ra­tion to many in the fashion and design industry.  She car­ried her ele­gant 6’4″ hour­glass frame with grace and beauty.  Her mod­eling career started at the age of 17 after being dis­cov­ered by pho­tog­ra­pher, Bruce Weber. She flew from her home­town in Utah to the run­ways of Paris, France.  This was just the begin­ning of her path as sought after pro­fes­sional stylist for celebri­ties and influ­en­tial fashion designer.  Her style and under­standing of a woman’s curves offered glamour and classic style to the red carpet.  L’Wren designed an exclu­sive line for Banana Republic (launched in 2013) because she knew it was time to expand her classic sophis­ti­ca­tion in haute cou­ture to the masses.  Her work ethic and ded­i­ca­tion kept her suc­cess growing and it is sad to see such a cre­ative inspi­ra­tion pass at the young age of 49.  She will be missed and we will often wonder what else she may have been capable of achieving if she were still with us.  We cel­e­brate L’Wren Scott with home decor inspired by her impec­cable style.
