L’Wren Scott | Style Icon
Written by Clayton Gray Home
L’Wren Scott was an inspiration to many in the fashion and design industry. She carried her elegant 6’4″ hourglass frame with grace and beauty. Her modeling career started at the age of 17 after being discovered by photographer, Bruce Weber. She flew from her hometown in Utah to the runways of Paris, France. This was just the beginning of her path as sought after professional stylist for celebrities and influential fashion designer. Her style and understanding of a woman’s curves offered glamour and classic style to the red carpet. L’Wren designed an exclusive line for Banana Republic (launched in 2013) because she knew it was time to expand her classic sophistication in haute couture to the masses. Her work ethic and dedication kept her success growing and it is sad to see such a creative inspiration pass at the young age of 49. She will be missed and we will often wonder what else she may have been capable of achieving if she were still with us. We celebrate L’Wren Scott with home decor inspired by her impeccable style.
