First Friday January 2014
Written by Brandi Jackson
January 3rd was the first First Friday of 2014. A special night to visit with our customer and business neighbors on our beautiful stretch of Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa. It was a gorgeous evening in Hyde Park with perfect weather for gathering with friends.
First Friday began at 4pm with SOHO Cycling Studio greeting everyone as they entered Clayton Gray Home. SOHO Cycling Studio educated guests on the benefits of spinning and how it can enhance other activities, such a running. It is race season in Florida and spinning is a great way to help you cross train for the PR you have been chasing! Guests left with special package pricing for some amazing spin classes to help that New Year’s resolution.
Buddy Brew Coffee was brewing up some delicious coffee. Being educated on Buddy Brews roasting process was intriguing for everyone. We also learned some educational tidbits about the health benefits of coffee. Working with the farmers from whom they purchase their coffee beans (which are actually from a fruit!), coffee is more than just a caffeine fix for Buddy Brew, it is love! Buddy Brew is truly passionate in what they brew and it shows in their fabulously wonderful cup of joe.
What’s a party without COCKTAILS?! Skinny Girl Margaritas were on hand. Truly refreshing and yummy! A perfect go-to party favorite and it’s light!
Every party needs a “wow” factor and we think that we hit the nail (or pin) on the head with Pinterest. We had healthy and satisfying “No Bake Energy Bites” and fabulous examples of organizing tips using our vintage key racks. The Vagabond Vintage key racks are perfect for organizing not only keys, but belts, jewelry, socks, cleaning supplies, washi tape (love this!), dog leashes and collars, scarves, ties, umbrellas and ribbons/fabrics.
Guests left with fabulous swag bags filled with the recipe for the “No Bake Energy Bites”, organizing tips using our key racks, SOHO Cycling Studio specials, free Buddy Brew Coffee vouchers and a chic and practical planning calendar. We can’t think of a better way to ring in 2014!
