We will never forget
Written by Brandi Jackson
Today, we remember all of the selfless acts of courage. Strangers helping strangers. The first responders who ran head first into the face of danger. The innocent bystanders and civilians. The airline pilots and flight crews. The people going about their usual morning routine at work in the World Trade Centers and at the Pentagon. The brave passengers of flight 93 who vowed to protect our nations Capital. The brave servicemen and women that protect us today. Today, we remember what it means to be an American.
The U.S. Naval Academy Anchormen choir sings in tribute to the 10th anniversary of 9/11. It’s a beautiful song, sung without rancor or vengeance, just a sense of the hole that was left in our collective psyche on that terrible day and our dedication to national healing.
