Spring has sprung and soon it will be Summer!  Fireplace Mantels are thought of often during the cold months, but sadly neglected during the warm ones.  Don’t neglect your mantel!  Take it on as an easy creative challenge.  Introduce pops of bright colors (greens, corals, oranges, blues, and for the uber daring…PINK!)  Use accessories, artwork, botanical prints, living walls — whatever you chose, have it make a statement just as it would during the holiday season.

We LOVE  how the designer used bright paint to jazz up the logs in the fireplace in the below photo!  If looking for a larger pop of color try a garden stool like the one from Emissary in the collage above (may also be used for additional seating).  Pull out bright colored books and stack them in baskets in or around the fireplace.  Don’t forget pillows for your sofas and chairs to tie in your Springy vibrant colors!

Lastly, if possible, bring some lighting near your fireplace to provide year-round ambiance.  Cheers!

One Response to Fireplace Mantel Jazzed For Spring

The thing I love about fireplace mantels the most is how versatile they can be. Every season, every holiday they can be completely transformed bringing a new fresh look to the space. Thank you for sharing your ideas for the spring season.
