Emerald Envy

This week we will be paying homage to the color green, in honor of our Shades of Emerald party we held this past Saturday, for our Grand Opening. If you were unable to join us, check out some photos from our event.

Everything from clothing, accessories, furniture, food, and even drinks were green hued!  Thanks to Pinterest, we were full of decorating ideas that you can find here.
According to Kate Smith with www.sensationalcolor.com, “The color green helps soothe, relaxes us mentally and physically, helps alleviate depression, nervousness and anxiety, as well as offers a sense of renewal and harmony.  In religion, green is associated with resurrection and regeneration.  In the fashion world, there is supposedly a superstition that sewing with a green thread the eve of a fashion show brings bad luck to the design house.”
The green threads seen in various frocks the evening of our party brought us anything but bad luck!  All ranges of greens from jade to malachite help set the tone for the evening against our classic white walls.
We have to agree with Kate, we are in complete harmony and feel renewed and rejuvenated to be in our new, lovely digs!
See a few of our must have items in this radiant, energizing hue, that will make everyone green with envy…In a good way, of course!
