The Classic Beni Ourain Rug … and then some

We are so excited to have just stocked some gor­geous hand­made rugs from Turkey. Styled after the classic Beni Ourain rug from the Middle Atlas moun­tains in Morocco, these 100% wool rugs are very unusual and very special.

The weave cre­ates a very soft rug. You may never want to put your shoes on again!

Ancient Beni Ouarain breed of sheep grazing. The Beni Ouarain tribes did not use their orig­inal car­pets as floor covers, but rather as beds and bedding.

Right now, we have 2 dif­ferent Beni-​​style rugs in-​​stock. Both are hand­made in Turkey, and are 100% wool. The hexagon shaped pat­tern (pic­tured above), and the dia­mond shape pat­terned rugs.
